Digitally supported child and youth participation - potentials, experiences and ideas for the future

- | Room 495 | German

How can we successfully involve children and young people in decision-making processes and what role can digital tools play in this? In this workshop, we will bring together local authorities, independent organisations and other stakeholders in child and youth participation and explore the potential that digital methods and processes can offer. We will share best practice examples with other local authorities. We will summarise which participation formats and structures already exist and collect ideas for their (digital) further development. Registration required at roots@leipzig.de.

Martin Blumbach (www.ericsson.com/de) together with Marcel Fröhlich (www.eccenca.com) will present the Ericsson content delivery pipeline built around a “knowledge graph platform” based on eccenca corporate memory. Knowledge is expressed in RDF knowledge graphs that are automatically instantiated from machine-readable information “fragments” and manually created DITA topics. DITA bookmaps containing manually and automatically created DITA topics are automatically assembled for publication. They also present knowledge visualization for SMEs and give an outlook on how knowledge can be repurposed, for example for generative AI.
